After more than 20 years in accounting and finance, I've learned that most business owners don't need more reports — they need someone they can trust to help them understand what the numbers mean and make better decisions.

I began my career in public practice before spending the next decade working as a Financial Controller and CFO across industries including construction, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, professional services and not-for-profit organisations. That experience taught me that every successful business needs more than accurate bookkeeping — it needs a finance team that provides clarity, structure and confidence. That's exactly why I founded Alira.

Our goal is simple: to become an extension of your business, giving you the support, systems and financial insight you'd expect from an in-house finance team, without the cost of employing one.

When I'm not talking cash flow or forecasting, you'll usually find me supporting one of my three kids at their activities, planning our next family holiday, or hoping this might finally be Carlton's year.

For more than a decade of working in the accounting field, I understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency. I am passionate about my work and always strive to deliver high-quality results while continuously learning and improving — making sure the day-to-day bookkeeping is handled efficiently, giving business owners confidence that their financial information is always reliable.

At Alira Business Solutions, I support our clients with bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts administration and financial processing. We continuously improve processes to help reduce our clients' workload and streamline their operations.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me enjoying a matcha, playing mobile games or planning my next travel adventure. I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures and making memories wherever I go.

Hi, I'm Kristian — the engine behind many of our clients' day-to-day finance operations.

With more than 16 years' experience in bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting and compliance, I make sure every transaction is accurate, every deadline is met and every client receives reliable financial information they can depend on.

I manage the day-to-day financial administration for many of our clients, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations and month-end processing. My attention to detail, technical knowledge and calm, methodical approach mean clients can trust that their finances are always in safe hands.

Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and exploring new technology that improves productivity and, like the rest of the Alira team, I appreciate a great espresso. Every now and then, I'll also enjoy a good brandy to unwind.
